How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

Devicesstrange Concrete does not have crews or installers. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent concrete provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business. They are the one who visits your home, gives a quote, and does the work.

What Happens on the Call

The first talk is simple. You share what you want: a new driveway, a stamped patio, or other flatwork. You say roughly where you live and the size of the space. The provider may ask a few questions and offer a time to look at the site. Availability depends on the provider, so ask what their schedule looks like.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

Ask before you pour. These questions help you see how a provider thinks.

  • How will you prepare the ground? A good answer mentions clearing, grading, and a compacted base.
  • How will water drain? A good answer talks about slope, away from your house.
  • How long before I can use it? A good answer gives a range and explains curing.
  • Can I have the quote in writing? A good answer is a clear yes.

Red Flags to Notice

Be careful if someone asks for all the money upfront. Be careful if they will not explain their steps. Pressure to decide on the spot is another sign to slow down.

You Are in Control

You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. You can ask for time. Nothing about a first call locks you in.
